Ultrafine Aluminum Oxide Blast Media

Ultrafine Aluminum Oxide Blast Media are white, spherical aluminum oxide blasting media. This product is primarily used for surface finishing, capable of polishing workpieces to achieve a matte surface brightness. Compared to traditional blasting media, this product is smaller in size, with a minimum size of up to 5 micrometers.

Product Detail

Aluminum oxide beads are sintered using an electric melting method, resulting in a distinctive internal crystal phase structure. This unique microstructure provides high hardness, impact resistance and excellent wear resistance. It ensures that ceramic sand maintains superior strength and hardness. In contrast, coarse structural grains reduce both the strength and toughness of the shot, leading to premature breakage and fragmentation during use.

The spherical shape, smooth surface, and dust-free nature of the particles create ideal conditions for a good working environment.

Stable chemical inertness ensures that the processed workpieces remain uncontaminated.
