GMA Garnet vs Hard Rock Garnet

The two main commercial grades of blasting garnet differ in their mineralogy, hardness, and performance characteristics:

GMA (Almandite) Garnet — mined from alluvial deposits, primarily in Western Australia. The most widely traded blasting garnet globally.
